A very stylish and scarcely seen 1950's modernist table designed by architect couple John & Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture as part of their much sought after 'Cumberland' 'C' range.
A clean, modernist aesthetic that still feels contemporary to this day, way ahead of its time!
The table features two floating pedestals with three large drawers i.
The pedestals are joined by a black melamine-topped surface
Originally designed as part of a modular bedroom system intended for young forward thinking homes in the 1950s, the 'C' range was finished in either oak or Australian walnut (this piece being in oak).
