This set of five teak nesting tables was designed by poul hundevad in the 1960s for novy domov in former czechoslovakia.
Coming of age as a Danish designer in the mid-century period meant that Hundevad was also concerned about functionality and flexibility in his designs.
In the mid-century period multi-purpose furniture was very popular. This trend's roots lie in the Scandinavian heritage of small, efficient homes that required adaptable furniture.
